SenseIV is a growing multidisciplinary team spanning clinical science, data science, engineering, user- and patient-centred design, product development, humanities, and business growth.
Founded in 2022 following an eHealth innovation challenge at ILS2 in Swansea, SenseIV was built around a simple goal: to address a long-standing safety gap in peripheral IV care.
We are currently patent pending and hold registered trademark protection.
Sara Boltman is a recognised leader in data strategy and management consultancy. With extensive experience at Butterfly Data and DAMA she brings not only expertise in algorithm development and governance, but also a pragmatic, people-centered approach to helping organisations build trusted data foundations.
Dr Isobel Taylor is a healthcare design researcher and medtech leader specialising in patient-centered medical device development. With considerable experience taking complex healthcare innovation projects from concept through to validation, she leads SenseIV’s product strategy, user research and clinical translation
Paul Lee is an internationally recognised expert in peripheral IV therapy and vascular access with senior experience across NIVAS, NAMDET and the NHS. He has 40 years experience in clinical practice, training and medical device safety, providing SenseIV with deep frontline insight into PIVC-related harm, standards of care and real-world health care delivery.
SenseIV is supported by a growing multidisciplinary team contributing expertise across engineering, research, technical communication, and company operations. This wider team helps translate our research and innovation into a scalable medical technology company.
